Insects

I like their handsome alien looks. I also feel compelled to add that I don't kill, freeze or displace them when taking photos

Arctic Circle

An eclectic mix of photos of plants, whales and midnight sun from the beautiful province of Troms in Norway.

Seascapes

I like to go to the sea. Lots. And so I have a great many photos of stones, waves, seaweed, lighthouses and sunsets (sunsets, yes, yawn).

Candid

I find it difficult to photograph people, for fear of intruding. Here is a small collection of those moments when I dared.

Peru

I spent a year measuring raindrops (no joke). I've made a slim picturebook about this fantastic and traumatizing work

Aerial

The great joy of being on a transatlantic flight (and I'm trying not to, for carbon-saving reasons) is seeing Greenland and the ice. So here goes.

Birds

Not being a birder, all my bird photos are incidental. Except the tern photos - I can watch these birds for hours

Knoydart

Rain, stags, birds, seals, shells, lochs, boats, heather, hills. Part of the mainland, but you can only get there by boat.
